Record an offline payment
For players who pay you in cash, by PayID or by bank transfer.
Not everyone pays by card. Players hand over cash at the court, send a PayID, or do a bank transfer, and Arvald has a way to record that so your books match reality.
Recording one
Open the booking, from Payments or from the session's roster under Sessions, then Record a payment. Choose how they paid:
- Cash
- PayID
- Bank transfer
Recording the payment marks the booking paid and confirms it, exactly as a card payment would.
The action is only available on a pending booking that is not already paid, which is the state a booking sits in when it has been created but no money has arrived.
Money does not move
Recording an offline payment tells Arvald that you have been paid. It does not move any money. Nothing is charged and nothing is transferred. You are entering a fact about the world so the record is right.
They cannot be refunded here
An offline payment cannot be refunded through Arvald, and the refund action will not appear on one. There is nothing to send back, because the money never went through the booking page.
If you need to give the money back, give it back the way you received it, and cancel the booking in Arvald so the spot is freed and the record is honest.
Where the booking comes from
There are two kinds of booking you can record a payment against, and both work the same way here.
One is a booking a player started on your booking page and did not pay for. The other is a booking you added yourself, from the session's roster. If a regular texts you and hands over cash at the court, add them and mark it cash in one go, or add them unpaid now and record the payment when the money actually arrives. See Add a player yourself.
You do not need card payments switched on to do either. If you run entirely on cash, you can still keep your whole roster and your books in Arvald.
Your booking page is still card-only
The one thing offline payments do not reach is the public booking page. A player visiting it pays by card or not at all; they cannot choose to pay you in cash themselves. Anything offline is something you enter, from your side.
