Edit or cancel a session

Editing

Open the session from the sessions list and choose edit. You can change:

• The date, start and end time, anchored to the session's original time zone
• Whether the court is guaranteed, the location, and the court numbers
• The capacity, which is the number of spots
• The price, either inherited from the service or custom to this session
• The cancellation policy, either inherited from the service or overridden here

Price and policy each work the same way: leave them inherited and they follow the service, or switch to custom and this session stops following the service for good.

Editing a session does not notify anyone. Players who have already booked will not hear about a time change from Arvald, so if you move a session that has bookings on it, contact those players yourself. Their contact details are on the booking.

Capacity and existing bookings

You cannot reduce capacity below the number of spots already taken. The form knows how many are booked and holds the floor there.

Cancelling

Cancelling is available from the sessions list, on sessions that are still scheduled, and it is owner-only.

Cancelling a session marks it cancelled and takes it off your booking page. It does not refund anybody. Money that players have paid stays paid until you refund it.

So the order for calling off a session with bookings on it is:

1. Refund each booking, choosing Free the spot so the booking is cancelled as part of the refund.
2. Contact the players, because Arvald will not.
3. Cancel the session.
4. Release the court with your venue, which Arvald does not do either.

Do it in that order and nobody is left having paid for a lesson that is not happening.
