Set your prices
Per session or per person, and how to charge one session differently from the rest.
Price lives on the service, and every session running off that service inherits it. You can override the price on an individual session when you need to.
Per session or per person
Per session is one price for the whole thing, however many people turn up. A private lesson at $90 costs $90 whether one player books it or a pair books it together.
Per person charges each player that amount. A group clinic at $25 per person costs $25 to each of the six players who book, so a full session brings in $150.
Which one you want follows from how the session fills. Exclusive sessions, where one party books the lot, usually price per session. Shared sessions, where players book independently, usually price per person. Get this backwards and a full group clinic will bring in the price of one lesson.
Currency
The currency is set per price and shown to players on the booking page. Amounts are handled in minor units behind the scenes, so what you type is what the player is charged, with no rounding surprises.
Overriding one session
Sometimes one session should not cost what the service says: a holiday clinic, a longer slot, a session at a club that charges you more for the court.
Edit the session and switch its price from inherited to custom. From then on that session carries its own price and stops following the service. Changing the service price later will not touch it.
You cannot set a custom price while creating a session, only while editing one. Create it first, then edit it.
What players see
Players see the price on the session card before they commit to anything, and again on the checkout page. The amount is calculated on the server from the service and session, not from anything the browser sends, so a player cannot talk the price down by fiddling with the page.
