How booking works

Your coach has a page with the sessions they are running. You do not need an account to use it.

Picking a session

Each session shows when it runs, where, how long it is, the price, and how many spots are left. Times are shown in the venue's own time zone, spelled out, so a lesson in Helsinki reads as Helsinki time wherever you happen to be reading it.

Some sessions are part of a term: a set of dates sold as one purchase rather than one week at a time. Joining a term takes a spot in every session of it.

What you pay

The price comes from what your coach set for that session, and it is calculated when you book rather than sent from your browser. What the sheet shows you before you pay is what you are charged.

For a group session the price may depend on how many of you are coming. Change the number of people and the total updates.

Paying

Payment happens on a secure checkout page run by Stripe. Arvald never sees your card.

Your spot is held while that page is open, so nobody can take the last place out from under you mid-payment. If you close the page without paying, the hold expires on its own and the spot goes back. Nothing is booked until the payment goes through.

If you have booked before

If you enter an address that already has an Arvald account, the form asks you to sign in before you pay. It takes one emailed code and no password.

That step exists so the booking joins the rest of yours rather than starting a separate record your coach and you would both have to reconcile later. It only appears if you have signed in at least once before; if you have only ever booked as a guest, you carry straight on.
